Problems Sending e-Mail?

TROUBLESHOOTING

When you first setup the properties for the e-mail client you probably did not select to have the server check your credentials when sending e-mail.  Some of our e-mail servers will require this authentication on outgoing e-mail.   If you cannot send e-mail, please try to change these settings, close and restart Outlook and try again.

Also, please make sure your reply e-mail address on the "General" tab page has been completed as well.

The REPLY e-mail address should match the exact name of the e-mail user account.

If this fails, then:

Also, please note that on the  "Advanced" tab there is a default port of "25" set for outgoing servers.  Some ISPs block this port by domain unless otherwise instructed.  Please check with your Internet Service Provider if you are still unable to send mail.  They can normally change an entry in their servers to allow e-mail for your domain through this port.

Please note that some ISPs require their clients to use their own outgoing mail servers for sending email.  If you are still unable to send email, please contact your ISP and ask what their requirements are for outgoing mail.
